We will do things a bit differently this time. We will NOT take any cash from anyone of you, we will refund maximum <del>100 Euro</del> 80 Euro for the flight tickets if we get a proper receipt. However we need to book hotel rooms for our participants who travel from abroad. We will soon post an email to our mailing list and a form where people have to sign up. This is NOT a binding signup, but we need to estimate the number of hotel rooms necessary. Only this who sign up to will get a free hotel room! Stay tuned!.

Maybe the information hasn’t been good or timely enough? I doubt there is lack of interest for the general idea. Therefore we are postponing Snorfcon and want feedback on when to arrange it.

We’re consider November 2011 to be the earliest feasible date. We have created a doodle pad where interested people/groups can enter their preferred time for the next Snorfcon.

We also aim to bring out some printable written materials to make it easier to join Snorfcon. For example a guide on how to pick a topic for snorfcon aimed at both established and new (future?) groups/cons.

PS. To those who have already paid the particpation fee we will refund them or give them similar tickets to the next Snorfcon.

on the 18th of May 2011 we received 40.000 DKK (about 5000 euro) in a grant from the Nordic Culture fund. However, before any grant money is paid we are required to send in a list of participants and a program schedule. According to our Programming Principles The challenge is that the participants are the one who creates the program. Can you sign up quickly enough to guarantee us funding?
